Guest guest
I recieved this query from a friend of a patient. wonderng if anyone can provide some insight into this. I go to the dermatologist a lot for skin tags and skin moles and he freezes them off. It is painful, costly, and when I get one burned off then 5 more comes and replaces it. They itch me more and more and I can not keep from scratching and picking. He says there is nothing I can do but the freezing off and I don't believe that. I think they are a virus and I think there should be something. thanks, k -- Oriental Medicine Experienced, Dedicated, Effective Flying Dragon Liniment: Effective pain relief for muscles & joints Formulated by Kath Bartlett, Traditional Chinese Herbalist Available at Asheville Center for , or web order at: Kamwo Herbal Pharmacy: NY - Chinatown https://www.kamwo.com/shop/product.php?productid=17442 & cat=0 & page=1 Golden Needle Acupuncture, Herbal & Medical Supply - Candler, NC http://www.goldenneedleonline.com/index.php?page=categories & category=14 & vendor= & \ product=5554 & pg= Asheville Center For 70 Woodfin Place, Suite West Wing Two Asheville, NC 28801 828.258.2777 kbartlett www.AcupunctureAsheville.com

Guest guest
on the skin tag location (from the interested, prospective patient): Tags are mostly around neck and some around the underarm area. The " moles " are face to knees at this point. kath b On Thu, Jul 31, 2008 at 11:12 PM, Jack Sweeney <mojavecowboywrote: > > > K: > > On which areas of the skin do the spots appear? > > Jack > > > > --- On Thu, 7/31/08, <acukath<acukath%40gmail.com>> > wrote: > > <acukath <acukath%40gmail.com>> > skin tag tx? > " PCOM Alumni " <alumni <alumni%40pacificcollege.edu> > > > Cc: " TCM List " <Chinese Traditional Medicine <Chinese Traditional Medicine%40yah\ oogroups.com> > > > Thursday, July 31, 2008, 7:51 PM > > I recieved this query from a friend of a patient. wonderng if anyone can > provide some insight into this. > > I go to the dermatologist a lot for skin tags and skin moles and he freezes > them off. Guest guest
This is just an incidental note on skin tags. My good friend, pathologist, came in for a massage. I noticed a skin tag on his upper back. He said take a nail clipper and take it off! I said, you got to be kidding me. He said, no - that's what the dermatologist would do. I did it - pinched it right off with a nail clipper - no bleeding, no nothing. He didn't even register any pain. I have never done this on any one else, and probably never will, but this guy is no dummy when it comes to Western skin pathology. Guest guest
ditto, that's what my dermatologist told me to do, too - just clip the skin tags off with nail clippers or really sharp little scissors. he also said they are caused by clothes rubbing the skin, not by viruses. for moles, the dermatologist should use a local anesthetic before removing these; it should be relatively painless, and if the person has health insurance, it will likely pay for the removal. --RS On Aug 1, 2008, at 9:23 AM, Janis Egan wrote: > This is just an incidental note on skin tags. > > My good friend, pathologist, came in for a massage.
