Guest guest
I went shopping last night in Costco... absolutely nothing philosophical about that, not even remotely enlightening or mind stretching about shopping in Costco... HOWEVER I saw the title of a book that got me started... " A Thousand Places To See Before You Die. " With a title like that I picked it up and had a gander at some of the places. NEVER heard of them. Places in Jordon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, India. First I was struck by the arrogant presumption of the woman that I'm ACTUALLY going to die. I beg to differ. I have NO intention on dying... EVER... Secondly I was hit by a very powerful case of Wanderlust. Then I thought of my children... ain't going to happen, not in THIS 100 years anyway. >sigh< I put the book back. I decided that there was no point in buying a book of places I'm not going to see. And this morning I saw something written by John F Kennedy that made me laugh... " Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names. " ROFLMAO! Zat's a good'un and going on me website! Happy Mother's Day (tomorrow) to all you mum's. K Cheers! Kathleen Petrides The Woobey Queen http://www.fatcatcandleco.com
