It's sterile and has all them lovely antibodies in them. ;-) K Cheers! I'm glad all is better now... I hadn't thought about mixing the hydrosol with the tea.... Having thought about it, it wouldn't do any harm, on the other hand I see no added benefits either... Keep 'em seperate! At least that's what I would do. Hope you get better soon. K Cheers! Guest guest
I woke up this morning with a case of pink eye. Went to medical doctor (aka " quack " ) who said it was a " viral " infection, not bacterial (he did not elaborate on differences between viral and bacterial). Said it would take up to a week to clear up; may go into other eye before it goes away. Did give me an Rx for drops because we are going into a weekend, but I am not to fill the Rx unless symptoms get worse because drops may make things worse. Eye is currently " pink " where it should be white, and feels " gritty " like sand is in the eye. Doesn't hurt, just uncomfortable. Obviously, oils are not indicated for an eye condition. Have chamomile tea bags which I will wet down and put on eye for ten minutes tonight and again in the morning. Any other suggestionsthat anybody may have are gratefully accepted! This is killing me because I have a month old grandson that I can't be around until this is cleared up. And guess what???? Mother's Day is Sunday, and I can't hold my grandson. I think I will call an eye doctor to get another medical opinion.... Thank you! Barb

Guest guest
Thank you so very much for your suggestions! As for the breastmilk, unfortunately, my daughter did not produce enough milk for the little guy, which is common in first babies. We almost lost my daughter...she lost a lot of blood giving birth, and her blood pressure went down to 70/50, and she had to have 2 units of blood. She tried really hard to breastfeed, but the baby was obviously not getting anything, even after a week. Jordan (baby) lost a pound from his birthweight of 8 pounds 7.5 ounces. Krysti was pumping manually, but was only producing an ounce a day. Jordan was really jaundiced, and was very close to being hospitalized. We put baby on formula, and that was the end of that. Baby's liver went to normal in one day; plus both mom and baby weren't getting so frustrated. Sorry. Didn't mean to write a book about this... As for rose hydrosol, I have some. Spray into the eye? Or mix with cham " tea " ? I will do the " tea " bit once every two hours.... Again, thank you so much for the suggestions! Barb
Guest guest
At the chance of being shot down for being a " snake oil " saleswoman on the oils list, ...may I suggest a drop of a good quality colloidal silver (the kind with very small mm particles)...it has cured many an eye infection (or pre-infection) for everyone that I know who has used it, me included. And it works very fast! I doen't sting or leave a film like the prescribed creams, etc. Diana of Dewberry Hill Win a $20,000 Career Makeover at HotJobs
