I must be mistaken in thinking we have the free option to seek out something - that would be an iniatory act on our part...

Is there a law somewhere that says she must recieve this new (experimental) vaccine? What am I missing here?

A batch of nearly 76,000 doses of the human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) was withdrawn from market, a government statement said, after two girls in the eastern Valencia region fell seriously ill hours after receiving them.

"One of the girls got out of intensive care this weekend and the other is still there. Both are in stable condition," a Valencia health department spokeswoman told AFP. The two girls were vaccinated last week as part of a vast government vaccination programme targeting adolescents.

The vaccine prevents the most common types of HPV, a common virus spread through sexual contact that can cause cervical cancer.

Some 500,000 cases of cervical cancer are discovered each year, according to United Nations estimates, many in developing countries. If left untreated, invasive cervical cancer is almost always fatal.

Spanish health authorities said in a statement the batch of the Gardasil brand of vaccines was distributed country-wide, with some earmarked for regional vaccination programs and the rest sold at pharmacies.

Oftentimes when you go to your medico (whether pediatrician or family) the doc or nurse just assumes you will do what they tell you and they will tell you they are going to administer little Johnny or Janey their shots. You, of course, can refuse.

 

When my one daughter had her son in the hospital she refused to have him vaccinated with the HIb shot that they give to all newborns in the state of Ohio shortly after birth. Because she refused she was harassed by the head nurse who came in several times to try and bully my daughter into allowing them to vaccinate her new born son. One of the arguments the nurse used was that he couldn't get into school without it! I looked at the nurse and told her he wasn't of age to attend school so we were not worried! We had same problem when a couple of years later she had twins and refused to have them vaccinated after birth.

 

I have a niece who is an RN and she worked at our Children's Hospital in Columbus and was often forced to harass patients who had not vaccinated their children for whatever reason. She was even written up once because she could not get a couple to agree to vaccinate their very ill child! This niece lost her job shortly there after and was told she was "not a team player" and that she " did not follow orders well". In other words, she was not forceful enough in trying to bully parents into doing things they didn't want to do to their child!

 

You do have a choice~you can stand firm and not be bullied by those who claim to have the "best interest" of your child in mind. No one else has the best interest of your child as much as you do! You often have to fight for your rights to your own child's health choices in today's society.

I agree. But I don't see most of apathetic America joining us!

Schools are used as "agents of change" and people have been very well "changed" for the most part into docile, functionally uneducated citizens who do what the "experts" tell them is best for them. I experience this all the time. Try telling your neighbors or family members what they can do to heal themselves and most will reply, "Let me ask my doctor first and get his/her opinion".

Aaargghhh!!!!! It is disgusting and maddening.

Most "agents of change" or "change agents" are sold as a nice addition to all schools instead of the scary mind control they are.

The docs are pushing this vaccine very hard. Several states

in the US, including the one I live in,tried to pass legislation last

year that would have made this a mandatory vaccine for school

children. We in the homeschool community voiced our rights big time

on that piece of legislation and the sponsor of the bill withdrew

it. Yes, there are ways to opt out of having vaccines for your

children, but MOST parents believe the docs and the pharmaceutical

companies. I took my then 16yo daughter to a new pediatrician

because she was having migraines they asked me if we wanted to go

research and that we would not be using the vaccine. The doc was

very intimidating, started reeling off facts that were totally false, and

then said that his practice could not treat our family if we refused the

vaccine. That was when we decided it was time to find a ND, and we

did and are very, very, happy with her care.

It is a scary world we live in, people don't THINK, they've forgotten or

been brain washed into not being able to use their minds, and they just

do as they're told.

They already are in Europe. I know many parents there who have been

fighting with the government over parental rights for years:

homeschooling, choosing not to vaccinate, giving raw milk, etc. It's

awful, and it's NOT impossible that it'll start happening here, too.
