Guest guest
I have heard of people having wonderful results, but be careful because it backfired for me big time. My holistic dentist had me start oil-pulling following removal of my mercury amalgams and I had a very bad reaction. Muscle testing indicated that sesame oil was NOT for me!! Perhaps I will try again some day with another type of oil...--- On Mon, 5/4/09, jarusso7 <jarusso7 wrote: jarusso7 <jarusso7{Herbal Remedies} oil pulling"Herbal Remedies" <herbal remedies >Monday, May 4, 2009, 12:27 PM I would like to hear about oil pulling from someone who has done it. Guest guest
Try Olive Oil or even Coconut Oil. I've found they all work to some degree. Guest guest
Dear Anella, Oil pulling is a great therapy which originates in ancient ayurverdic (indian) medicine in their books, it has been revived only recently by an indian guy who had suffered from so many ailments for over 30 years that he managed to reverse one by one by practising oil pulling. For those who do not know what is oil pulling. Taking a tablespoon of preferably organic cold pressed oils of sesame or sunflower or virgin coconut oil, first thing upon waking up and swishing and sucking it through your teeth for about 20 mins without swallowing anything. At the end of 20 mins you just spit the whole mixture of oil and saliva in your toilet and flush it. According to the people who swear by it, they say that it draws out toxins from your body through the tongue, remove any bacteria in between the teeth (these bacteria have been shown to be big sources of inflammation in the body). I have been practising oil pulling for almost 3 years now, I just incorporated it in my morning bathroom rituals so i dont feel that it takes any of my time. Whenever I dont do it i feel sluggish, sleepy. If i do it i feel energetic and clear headed. The first immediate thing you will notice is your teeth will become a few shades lighter. If you have sinus congestion it will immediately be relieved.Your skin will be glowing, after an oil pulling session your face looks like you had a facial.Try it and experience it for yourself. Guest guest
Richard,You can start for 5 mins on the first day and slowly build up so you can be able to eventually do it for 20 mins. Extra virgin olive oil is also fine. The most common oils used are organic cold pressed sesame oil, organic cold pressed sunflower oil and oganic virgin coconut oil.All the best,Nass--- On Wed, 5/6/09, richard otap <rotap48 wrote:richard otap <rotap48Re: {Herbal Remedies} oil pullingherbal remedies Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2009, 4:08 PM 20 minut?!
