Guest guest
Any suggestions on how to help my son stop bedwetting? I typically wake him 3 times a night for him to walk to the bathroom. Most nights he will wake up dry this way. He does not have any day time problems. And yes, he is a very deep / hard sleeper. We've been doing this for several months now. Thanks in advance... Guest guest
Sounds like a kidney yin/foundational essence deficiency. There are some great formulas and acupuncture points for this. You could start with something like American Ginseng, but it would be best to take him to a real herbalist or practitioner. They can do a pattern diagnosis and create a formula specially designed for him. From a dietary perspective, black beans, black sesame, black rice, black chicken, walnuts, organic eggs, red grapes, goji, stuff like that. - " mms_apps " <nez_good <herbal remedies > Monday, May 11, 2009 12:17 PM {Herbal Remedies} 6 yr old boy -- NOCTERNAL ENURESIS (BEDWETTING) > Any suggestions on how to help my son stop bedwetting? > > I typically wake him 3 times a night for him to walk to the bathroom. > Most nights he will wake up dry this way. Guest guest
There's the obvious, which you are probably doing - don't give him anything to drink before bed.You might also give him a teaspoon of honey before bed. It's an old fashioned remedy that often works wonders. It's working with my 3-year-old really well, in fact.Kathy herbal remedies From: nez_goodDate: Mon, 11 May 2009 19:17:39 +0000{Herbal Remedies} 6 yr old boy -- NOCTERNAL ENURESIS (BEDWETTING) Any suggestions on how to help my son stop bedwetting? Guest guest
On the herb stand point try parsley boiled with water have the child drink this all day. To Make: 1 gallon milk jug large handful parsley (green water) or parsley root (clear water) boil it up when ever thirsty drink it. If it is an infection there is cranberry juice or capsules and kidney bladder blend capsules drink lots of water then worry about the bed wetting after that is cleared up.---------------- Sounds like a kidney yin/foundational essence deficiency.
