Does anyone have more info on this? I've been digging for a little bit here and I can't find anything with reliable information, just more speculation.

What I want to know is why isn't this protected by the Native American Free Exercise of Religion Act 1993 (NAFERA) and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act 1993 (RFRA)?

Do I have bad info about these two acts? Are they meaningless?

Need some information on Niacin. I have been taking no-flush niacin to lower cholesterol levels. I just read that no-flush niacin doesn't work to affect cholesterol. Is this true?

How sad that we have to do desperate things in order to keep our kids from being poisoned by chemo. Just sickening to me.

You are so right, Robert. You cannot tell anyone that you intend to treat a child with alternative therapies because you run the risk of losing that child. There are many cases out there today.

Do any of you remember Billy Best from Pembroke, MA who ran away to avoid chemo, and he was found in Texas? They tried to take him away from his parents too, but the courts didn't get involved.

Billy did go to Canada and used 714 X, a sulphur compound and vitamins by Shaklee, and he used Essiac tea to cure his cancer in 1995, which is still gone today.

There is a lot more to the story where Dana Farber is concerned, proving that 714X works, but they won't release the study they did on it.

Well it appears that there is now a arrest warrant out for the boy's Mother for missing the court date. She should not have missed the court date. THat is why there is an arrest warrant out nationwide. She should not have even started the chemo if they already had alternative plans to start herbal treatment. The family should have not mentioned there plans to anyone. Now they are in trouble.

Also not everyone has the kind of money it takes to just pick up and go to another country.... It's a very sad situation that the decision is just taken out of your hand as a parent in matters as important as this. As far as enforced medications go---one article that passed by me lately was about medical research on RFID tagging medicines so it can be seen what and how much medication a person has in their system. Of course it was presented as making it easier for doctors and hospitals to know what medications you are on in order to avert mistakes--but it is a no brainer that it will also be used to make sure you are taking what is prescribed. It's not hard to see that it would play an important part in Obama's one size fits all medical plan...

I sent it out on all my lists thinking people would be as alarmed as I was---but all it got was a big yawn. Now that truly does scare me....

They did. But they made the mistake of telling the doctor they were going to do it.
