Guest guest
would give up the rx in a heartbeat. I will do whatever it takes to make her feel better. I feel bad medicating her at night, but don't know what else to do. There is no need for temples, no need for complicated philosophy. Guest guest
Having a daughter who was born with eczema and gone through it all, I can tell you the best things you can do. If you want to or not is again up to you. I might add my daughter Amy is now 28 and managing nicely compared to when she was younger and my heart goes out to anyone with this condition and my prayers to every mom who suffers along with them. It will have to be a life change for her not just a quick fix. I know that diet had alot to do with Amy's condition as allergie testing prooved what things needed to be eliminated in her diet as a child and that helped some and was a beginning. I also know that orthadox medicine ( doctors) are not going to take it a step further to check on paracites which could be the problem. When my daughter went on a paracite cleanse, and I changed her diet completely , things began to change alot with her skin. She got off all meat, all process foods ( the dyes were a killer for her skin) as in kraft mac and cheese the yellow and orange dyes, jello( they dyes) and the list goes on , not to mention msg, and a zillion other things listed on the boxes you cant even pronounce!! beware!! Even organic eggs were out for her as she was allergic to eggs. Now she can have them in small amounts. She also had to drink lactaid milk as a child with cereal. And to this day takes a digestive aid with meals. Check out her digestive track. When I got her up to at least 8 glasses of pure water( revere osmosis) yes, even our drinking water is diseased and she carries her own water bottle to this day ( we all do) , got off all processed foods, meat, white flour, white sugar, and all artificial fats things began to change for her. We learned how to eat and keep our bodies and hers in an alkaline state. You need to do this for her and yourself. Salads are the best and whole grains and she can do some fish like tuna and salmon. She uses the tanning booth for the lights help alot especially in the winter months and there is a cream she buys that helps as well. I will have to forward the name of it when i talk with you next as it escapes me now.I know it isnt that expensive and she tried them all. Nerves will kick off an outbreak also so my daughter walks alot and takes yoga to de stress. Alot of what I can share today was all by trial and error. But you find what helps and pass it along to hopefully eliviate someone elses pain. Drinking water with chloraphyll 2x a day cleanses the blood. Hope it helps!--- On Thu, 5/21/09, Ms. Understood <hey_littlesister wrote: Ms. Understood <hey_littlesisterRe: {Herbal Remedies} rash, allergies, eczemaherbal remedies Date: Thursday, May 21, 2009, 9:18 PM Would this work for eczema, too? Guest guest
I agree with Beth. I, myself, have had allergies all my life--now 60.. Had to have 100 possible allergens scratched on my back when I was 7 yrs. Ouch! What I found to help finally about age 37 yrs, in addition to cutting out "bad" foods such as sugars, white foods, etc., was to add cod liver oil in winter, fish oil in summer. Cleansing my body/blood with herbs (dandelion, burdock, etc.) and chlorophyll was very important. I also keep my immune system as strong as possible with food herbals such as astragalus extract, Vit. C, garlic, acidophilous. Reading "The Yeast Connection" by Dr. Crook helped me understand alot back then. Best of luck, Janet Beth Casey wrote: Having a daughter who was born with eczema and gone through it all, I can tell you the best things you can do. If you want to or not is again up to you.
