Guest guest
Hi All, This is the 3rd day of a sore throat (possibly the beginnings of strept). Can someone suggest something so I can rid myself of it and/or at the very least not have the soreness? I’ve done some gargling with CS (can’t determine if that’s helped or maybe prevented it from getting worse). Would love to hear from folks that have had something similar and nipped it in the bud! Thank you. Lisa
Guest guest
I read these posts everyday and saw yours. I use golden seal (root) and it kicks it right out of me fast. Guest guest
Cayenne pepper and raw garlic! Also make a hot mix of tomato juice, lemon juice, raw garlic, black pepper and tabasco! It feels awesome! Lisa <blacksands silver-list; miracle_mineral_supplement ; DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO ; herbal remedies Fri, Oct 30, 2009 8:12 am {Herbal Remedies} Sore throat... Guest guest
I use an essential oil blend and rub it directly on my throat. YL has this blend called Thieves and Butterfly Express calls a similar blend Deliverance. With Butterfly's, I add more clove oil.The CS should also help, but you need to use it frequently in small doses.Good luck!Ingrid"Be one more blind follower of the blind, and you will have the oblivion you desire."Bliss Carman1861-1929, Poet--- On Fri, 10/30/09, Lisa <blacksands wrote:Lisa <blacksands{Herbal Remedies} Sore throat...silver-list, miracle_mineral_supplement , DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO , herbal remedies Date: Friday, October 30, 2009, 6:12 AM Hi All, This is the 3rd day of a sore throat (possibly the beginnings of strept). Guest guest
Hi Lisa, Warm salt water always works for me as long as I nip it in the bud. Also you could try gargling with sage tea...Ofcourse Docs' TT would definately knock it out. Guest guest
My favorite bud-nipper in general is always good old Echinacea. But for sore throats in particular, my daughter used to be prone to them. I just realize that I made my first Echi tinc the year she left home, so I don't know how that would have worked. We usually averted the need for medication with the following tasty remedy: hot weater, honey, lemon juice, and as much cayenne as you can stand. If you have no lemons the fake instant kind or ACV can do as well. It worked like a charm, every time.
