Guest guest
For unblocking the arteries, garlic, cayenne, hawthorne. They will also normalize blood pressure. For high cholesterol, try celery juice. Especially high cholesterol combined with high blood pressure. - " devjan2003 " <lucyloulou964659 <herbal remedies > Saturday, February 13, 2010 6:54 AM {Herbal Remedies} blocked arteries > Hi > Can anyone give advice on unblocking arteries in the legs please ? would > prefer not to have the op i'm told i will be offered. ie stents. > Bad cholesterol very high but am working on that but more advice on that > would help as well. > > thanks > Lucy > > > > --- > > Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: > 1. Guest guest
Hi I always do hawthorn as it keeps my BP right and have been doing cayenne in water twice a day for the last 6 weeks. Taking garlic capsules 1000mg as i find raw very difficult to take. Also been doing lemon peel but haven't tried celery juice yet. Also eating porridge twice a day to reduce cholesterol. Will let you know if all this helps but hard to tell when i haven't managed to stop smoking yet (. Any advice on herbs etc to help with that please!!! Guest guest
The Best is my "Huff 'n' Puff" Formula which is a 1/2 by 1/2 mixture of Lobelia and Mullein. Every time you feel like a cig, just take a dropperful of the "H & P". You'll quit fast using this method. ;o) Doc On 2/14/2010 6:13 AM, devjan2003 wrote: Hi I always do hawthorn as it keeps my BP right and have been doing cayenne in water twice a day for the last 6 weeks. Guest guest
It should be noted that stents increase the risk of bloodclots which increases the risk of heartattack and stroke. I would refuse a stent . The major cause of blockage is inflamation . We have been told that saturated fat cause artery blockage but there is no saturated fat found in blockage but omega 6 is always found in the blockage.A diet high in omega 6 (most vegtable oils) cause inflammation . In 1912 the average diet contained 1/2 lb of omega 6 oil today its over 20lb . We should have 1:2 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 . Taking fish oil ,walnuts and flax seed can raise your omega 3 . Exercise reduces inflamation as well as reduction of belly fat.Avocoodos help prevent inflamation. In 1954 G.C. Wills M.D. should that vitamin C reduced athersclerotic deposites . Linus Pauling refer to the inflamation as chronic scuvey .Pauling and Rath showed that it was Lp(a) was responsable for cloging arteries and not LDL .Lp(a)is a problem due to low lysine in diet.Lp(a) have a lysine reseptor which prevents it from sticking and Rath further showed proline aslo binds with Lp(a) .Preventive level 3 gm. or more vit.C and 2-3 gms lysine and proline .Theraputical levels 6 ore more gm. of vit.C and 4-6gm. lysine with prolne. Niacin also reduces Lp(a) but need to be monitored in doses over 1000mg. 1000mg of lecthin help protect arteries. People with low vitamin D levels have shown to have more blocked arteries . Vit.D level needs to be above 35ug /ml Herb that have shown to be helpful Ginger ,garlic ,turmmic ,evening primrose, fengreek hawthorne and cayenne. Emzymes can help clean arteries Bromelain , serrapeptase ,peptase pancreatin on an empty stomach to clean arteries Homocystine can lead to blocked arteries and heart attack but is easily prevented with folic acid ,B6 and B12. EDTA as an oral chelator. avoid hydrogenated fats as little as 3% of you daily fat intake can increase your chance of heart attack%. Broccoli and other cruciferous veg . can protect and heal arteries. Low carb diet. Carb oxidizes in arteries. It is carb that increase triglycerites and Lp(a). Before take this in my diet Iwould have chest pains after walking 2 blocks .Now i'm running regularly.--- On Sat, 2/13/10, Mercurius Trismegistus <magisterium_magnum wrote: Mercurius Trismegistus <magisterium_magnumRe: {Herbal Remedies} blocked arteriesherbal remedies Date: Saturday, February 13, 2010, 7:36 PM For unblocking the arteries, garlic, cayenne, hawthorne. Guest guest
Good post Joe. As I stated in an earlier post, one needs to also remember to STOP doing those things that created the condition in the first place. There's no sense taking an herb (or a drug) for a pain in the leg without taking the nail out that's stuck there as well. The Naturopathic Approach is always to go to the "CAUSE" of the problem. Herbs are just a tool to facilitate the healing once the CAUSE has been addressed.
