Guest guest
In a recipe by Dr. Christopher, Gravel Root (Eupatorium purpureum) was substituted for Queen of the Meadow (Male Urinary Tract Formula (Prospallate) Cayenne (Capsicum spp.) Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) Gravel Root or Queen of the Meadow (Eupatorium purpureum) Juniper (Juniperus communis) Marshmallow Root (Althea officinalis) Parsley Root or Herb (Petroselinum crispum) Uva Ursi (Arctostaphylos uva ursi) Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) This formula helps the body dissolve stones that are in the kidneys, as well as clean out other sedimentation and infection contributing to prostate enlargement.) Is it also possible to substitute Queen of the Meadow in BF & C also, or will it not work the same? (6 parts Comfrey Root 6 parts Oak Bark 3 parts Gravel Root 3 parts Mullein 1 part Lobelia 2 parts Wormwood 3 parts Marshmallow Root 1 parts Skullcap 2 parts Walnut Bark) And does it have to be Walnut bark in the BF & C, or could it be black walnut hull or black walnut leaf? Do the different parts such as bark, leaf, root, hull in certain plants act so differently that they cannot be used interchangeably? Although sometimes I know they are poisonous. Such as the rhizomes/roots of violets are poisonous, but the leaves are not. Thank you! Victoria
