Help With Gel

Hi,

 

A while back I received a jar of healing gel to apply for wound dressing for a

cat who was injured 2 years ago and it helped heal the skin and soothe it well.

Problem is I can't find out who made this gel/salve and I'd like to make some of

this on my own since the same cat has a very raw patch of skin and nothing else

topical or internal is helping. At least I can alleviate some of the itching

with a cooling gel.

 

My feeling is that a cooling, drying, antiseptic, anti-biotic, wound healing

salve would be good for her right now. I have aloe - but I think the medium used

wasn't aloe. What is a good natural gel base that I can use other than aloe?

 

Any ideas would be great.
