Welcome aboard Kathe :) Glad to have you here.

What is CFS and FMS?

I know there has been quite a bit of info and idea put out here in

regards to ADHD. If you do a search through the archives you're sure to

find plenty of reading to keep you busy.

Its been a bit quiet the last couple weeks with the beginning of summer

and all ... lots of folks on vacation and stuff ...

CFS = Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ... an emerging illness characterized by

debilitating fatigue (experienced as exhaustion and extremely poor stamina),

neurological problems, and a variety of flu-like symptoms.

FMS = Fibromyalgia ... FMS is a syndrome, which means it is a specific set

of signs and symptoms that occur together. FMS is a state of central

sensitization. This means that your central nervous system may be unusually

sensitive to pain (hyperalgesia) and you also may find certain sounds,

vibrations, light, and other sensations (even smells) to be translated by

your body into discomfort or pain.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a mom of four living in PA. We homeschool and we garden. One of the things

we do is have the children maintain an herb garden.

Next year for our oldest, he will be making soap from the dried hetbs.

Our younger son is maintaining an herbal tea garden.

As for me, I enjoy the medicinal value of herbs. I also love wild gathering.

I hope to learn alot here as well as contribute :o)

Thanks for having me!

Kudos to you Jennifer. Really good of you to teach the kids healthy products

they can make and use. We are faced with threat of no electricity so teaching

them DIY would allow them to cope when this happens.
