Bradford Angier's a top survivalist. I have several of his books. How to stay alive in the wild is his most famous. I am glad to see that the have written the western medicinal plants. I will have to get that too. Ramona Quoting Tammy Tuttle <tjgraham2005: > Brian,Is this the book you were referring to, " Peterson's field > guide medicinal plants and herbs " ? Guest guest
Okay, my children and I are BRAND NEW to this. We buy all of our food and herbs and would like to be able to find some ourselves locally. Can someone make a book recommendation for the very young beginner or maybe a book specific to the SE US? Thanks! Guest guest
Anella, You might want to familiarize them with plants and herbs by taking them to the botanical garden. Then perhaps you can get books there as well. Local botanical gardens have the plants that grown in your area.
