Guest guest
It seems that many foreigners I meet have been raised knowing herbology and survival skills. Most Americans I meet just don't find it important. Tell me, Do you cook, steam, saute or just eat them raw like a fawn? Do you throw fiddle heads in your pasta sauce? ~B On 4/21/2010 8:12 PM, Deborah Higgs wrote: Fiddleheads are great. My sister's Italian in-laws turned me onto them many years ago. Great pictures!!! With a nutty flavor and fury texture they are one of the best survival foods. Little is known medicinally about Fiddleheads but nutritionally, they are wonderful. Can anyone tell me what this is? I thought maybe a young Pink Lady's Slipper. I guess I'll find out the next time I walk that trail. ~B
