Guest guest
Doctors use honey to save man's leg Doctors at Manhasset hospital use honey to help Queens man avoid leg amputation BY JONATHAN STARKEY | Special to Newsday http://www.newsday.com/news/local/nassau/ny-lihone0109,0,4956619.story Rest on url. I work helping seriously injured people and one client age 92, had terrible ulcers on her legs as a result of having pins put in her leg and they were so terribly infected for months it was seemingly hopeless. Everything was tried. I suggested she eat 2-3 tsp of pure manuka honey and she did this and her legs immediately healed up and it was a miracle. There was only a small bit left on her ankle that wouldn't heal, but she'd stopped taking the honey as it has a strong flavour. Otherwise it would prob all have healed. I personally like the flavour, but it does taste 'good for you'. It is a dark colour. Nicki
