Send this newsletter to a friend Featured Articles Featured Article #1: EFT and "being the bee": Angela Treat Lyon gives us a unique look at how to apply EFT in a beautiful and harmonious way for our animal friends -- in this case, a bee. While there is no proof that her EFT effort was what actually did the job, I think Angela's approach is certainly worth a try. Email Angela and Visit her website Featured Article #2: A very useful method for getting to important issues: Thanks to Illana Weiler from Israel for detailing her method of drawing the problem. It should have wide usage and I think it will be even more useful when applied to specific events. Email Ilana Featured Article #3: EFT for a numb face and tongue - instant relief for a skeptic: Stephen Grist from the UK performed some emergency EFT for his sister-in-law's sudden problem. The result was so striking that I suggest you bring it to the attention of your physicians. It is the type of non-drug relief that may be useful for a wide variety ailments. Email Stephen Past Articles from the EFT Website Eliminating allergic reactions to antibiotics: Dr. Anne Curtis, a physician in the UK, shares a case involving the dramatic cessation of an allergic reaction using EFT. This case illustrates how extraordinarily simple EFT can be to administer. More uses of EFT & a philosophical bent: Avis A. Burnett adds yet another example of intentional tapping to the books. Although those with a stronger background in spiritual, metaphysical or energy work are generally more open to accept an application of EFT without physical tapping, we have collected many examples to support its validity. Avis concludes her contribution with her thoughts on the power within us. How do you feel ABOUT your body having pain?: Grant McFetridge offers another way of approaching the emotional causes of pain. He asks people to focus on how they feel ABOUT their body having pain. Seems like a good idea to me--a direct way to get to the emotional causes. He reports very high success rates and shares his method & theory with us in his article. Thank you Grant. How to know when the healing is done: It's time for a little philosophy. Grant McFetridge sent me his thoughts on "how to know when the healing is done." He is an insightful, inquisitive fellow and a substantial contributor to this field. Accordingly, I thought you would find his message of interest and so I include it herein. My thoughts on this subject, however, are quite different from Grant's. The contrast between our perspectives should be stimulating. Claude improves his fishing: Almost everyone recognizes that we radiate our inner thoughts through such things as our posture, gestures, voice intonations and choice of words. People pick up on this, of course, and tend to respond to us in a manner commensurate with what we are "putting out." Thus if we are internally angry, people will tend to be angry back. If we are internally peaceful, people will tend to give us peaceful feedback. Nothing new here. But what about the effects of our internal state on the "non-people" elements of our outer world? Along these lines Dr. Patricia Carrington provides us with the story of "Claude" whose ability to catch fish rose dramatically after using EFT to improve his inner states of confidence, embarrassment and jealousy. Movies and a fear of heights: A big thank you to Chrissie Hardisty from the UK. Her example points the way to a use of movies that every energy healer should consider. When a war veteran, for example, sees a brutal war scene s/he is likely to have intense emotions. If so, THIS IS AN IDEAL TIME TO TAP. Why? Because the issue is front and center. Another thing movies are good for is testing your results. If you think you have gotten all aspects of a snake phobia, for example, then ask the client to watch the snake pit scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark." If any aspects are left, you will see them in your client's "squirm factor" as they watch that scene.
