I used to get terrible heartburn from just drinking a glass of water, so you can imagine how bad it was when I ate spicy food or had some beers. I used to carry a big bottle of antacids around with me wherever I went, and ate around a half bottle a day just to keep the heartburn reasonable. It was the worst when I was going to bed, so I would take the more powerful medicines before bed. I don¢t think I have to tell you that taking these medications on a regular basis is very bad over time -- it makes it so you can¢t digest your food properly.After being coerced to try the mangosteen juice, I felt relief almost immediately. Within a week, I had abandoned the night-time pills and half a bottle a day of antacids. I have not felt the burning sensation in my throat for over 3 months, and I haven¢t taken any more antacids in that time. I have more energy, and can eat whatever I want without reaching for the antacids
