I'm at a loss of understanding why denouncing the wanton killing, maiming, torturing of animals becomes an abortion rights issue.FYI, at this very minute, besides Sarah Palin's gassing baby wolves in their dens, shooting at wolves from helicopters and other horrors, there's the baby seal "season" that just opened [clubbed to death for their fur], and all the unspeakable suffering of animals needlessly experimented on not only by the pharmaceutic industry [see the pic at http://www.bestcyrano.org/THOMASPAINE/?p=768] but by the military. To the author: I'm sorry, I don't see any evidence of any kind dictating what you depict. If and when you get a chance to acquire certified proof of what you profer, please be free to re-distribute your story. To the man who responded the abortion issue, nice try...:)--- On Tue, 3/24/09, Viviane Lerner <vivlerner wrote:

The comparison is that animals and babies are both killed needlessly, and for no

other reason than " just because we can " . I believe that partial birth abortion

could be classified as maiming and torturing.

Maybe we should not be blaming this on Palin. Apparently, there cintinues to be savage crimes on animals being committed by some of the savages that have been living and reproducing in Alaska. If she tried to stop these multi-generational crimes immediately, there would be a guy in a helicopter with a sighted rifle hovering over her house the next day. I wouldn't know how to call a halt to this problem because you can't reason with unreasonable people in a killing frenzy - but perhaps one unmarked fighter could shoot just one of those hunting helicopters out of the air to get them to start logical reasoning. --- On Tue, 3/24/09, Viviane Lerner <vivlerner wrote:
