Bertrand RussellToday's EFT Quote: "I have found EFT helpful for a couple of health problems. First, I use it often for atrial fibrillation. It is not severe, but tapping can make it go away, even imagined tapping, when I am in a situation where I can't do tapping physically. The other problem is muscular cramps! The other night, I woke up in the middle of the night with a severe cramp in my calf, from over-exercising. It was excruciating! But I started tapping immediately, and it was gone within 30 seconds!" Bill AtkinsonToday's Skill Building Idea: The Personal Peace Procedure is a very powerful tool for making progress with most global issues (e.g. self-image, overweight, abusive history).Send this newsletter to a friendFeatured ArticlesFeatured Article #1: Aparna ‘s 7 year old son surrogate taps for mommy to get well … and she does: Aparna Natarajan gives us evidence that even a child can provide benefits with surrogate EFT. In her article she says, "I remembered that my son had tapped for me and I asked him what he had said while tapping. He said - "Mommy get well"." She concludes her article with, "I was also pleased to hear that she hasn't had a single nightmare since, and has used the technique on daily lifestyle stresses. I myself know the power of what EFT can do often, but sometimes it does something that just blows you off your feet. Fantastic." Puja says, "In India, getting any form of therapy for psychological issues is still considered taboo. Therefore EFT, despite being an energy therapy, is met with resistance. However, once the process is explained clearly and the affirmations customized according to the mindset of the person seeking therapy, the resistance dissolves." Note that there are pros and cons to doing suicide work over the phone and this is one area where EFT newbies should heed the warning, "Don't go where you don't belong." Although it can be more challenging to apply EFT "blindly", it can make a life-changing difference for someone with a trauma of this degree. MD uses EFT for a demented woman: Dr. Eric Robins finds EFT very helpful for relieving the fears and pains of demented hospital patients. In this article, he generously gives us the details of one such case, including this input... "I have had this similar type of success with about 2 out of every 3 agitated demented folks in the hospital. These patients can get quite loud and disruptive and it is a welcome relief when the tapping works. It was impossible for the testicle to descend on its own.": James Sullivan shares this story about his young son and his undescended testicle. They were told by the Urologist that it was impossible for it to descend on its own and that surgery was necessary. James, through some creative questions, uncovered an emotional reason for the problem and quickly relieved it with EFT. Blending EFT with Homeopathy: One of EFT's most useful features is its ability to blend with other healing procedures. In doing so it enhances the results (often dramatically) of the other procedure. Homeopathy also enjoys this marriage as is indicated in Anne Grey's article to her fellow homeopathy practitioners. "How do I get really good at EFT?": Gwyneth Moss from the UK shares several helpful concepts for improving your EFT skills. As she explains, "Any artist whether painter, potter, pianist or cook must practice and practice and practice basic techniques until those get into the muscles and no longer require conscious thought...Any artist will tell you that in the moments of creativity they are not there, they get out of the way and the inspiration seems to come from nowhere, from beyond."
