Guest guest
In the US almost all potatoes have been genetically modified and have a higher glycemic index than pure sugar. Our potatoes are nothing but sugar-like insecticide blotters. It has been suggested that eating potato can also promote the negative effects of swine flu and swine flu vaccine. I still love potatoes but eat them only if they are organically grown and won't est them if i feel my immune system has been compromised--- On Tue, 8/18/09, Misty <misty8 wrote: Misty <misty8 The surprising health benefits of the humble spud"Health and Healing" <health_and_healing >Tuesday, August 18, 2009, 8:35 AM The surprising health benefits of the humble spudRead more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1206765/Why-potatoes-suprising-health-benefit-key-lasting-weight-loss.html#ixzz0OXNgnsF4
Guest guest
Ah the 'humble spud'......... I must have them, if at all, peeled thickly because of the natural chemicals which ?gather immediately under the skin. This seemed quite outrageous to me when I first learned of it, as I had always believed eating the skin and all was nutritionally beneficial...... as you say - the things we learn..............
