Guest guest
Hello to everyone. I would like to know if anyone here has an alternative to sleeping pills?? I have a neice that can not sleep and is now taking over the counter sleeping aid. I don't beleive in taking them but then agian I do not have a problem sleeping. So I am sure we would look anywhere for a solution if it was our problem. This girl has stomach issues also. And I will tell you all that she has tried natural sleep aids, this is what she tells me anyway. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks May the light always shine bright in your being. Guest guest
Apart from trying Melatonin or another herbal remedy, there are various things that can help anyone sleep better, sorting out any worries the child may haven, a walk in the fresh air before bed, going to bed at the same time each night, getting enough exercise during the day, having the right temperature in the room, not eating too close to bed time, not ingesting nor watching stimulating games/movies/TV close to bed time, having a drink of cold water before getting into bed, having a quiet and totally dark environment OR a dim blue light in the room ......... all this adds up to a better chance of sleeping well, HTH Jane " tracyk50 " <tkieffer63 Hello to everyone. Guest guest
Tracy, Sounds as if it is likely that her sleeping problems are related to her digestive issues. She should look into healing her gut with the Body Ecology or other similar diet. In the meantime, there are many other sleep remedies to " get her over the hump " such as valerian, a supplement combination called Knock Out, Bach makes Rescue Sleep etc. I consider prescription sleep medication addictive and best avoided. Certainly shouldn't be used long-term and even more concerning in a young person. Kathy
Guest guest
Yes, constitutional homeopathy can help both of her issues resolve.
