Hi Team,

 

Attached is a letter I sent asking to appear before the Senate regarding the Bill C-6 hearings.

 

Please send as many letters of this kind as possible (each on a different letterhead) asking to be told of the first opportunity to submit a brief and appear as a witness. If you yourself don’t want to appear as a witness, you can nominate someone else to represent your concerns.

 

The more letters the better. To the political mind, numbers are power.

 

One of the ways that Harper railroaded C-6 through the House was to have the Standing Committee on Health hold a closed hearing at which witnesses were excluded.

 

We need to do everything possible to make sure that the Senate has an open hearing in which we participate.
