Guest guest
Could be a side effect of his medication. I know that cholesterol-lowering drugs cause muscle weakness that can cause bad falls or problems with just trying to walk. One way to stop the problem is to stop the drug. Guest guest
I had a similar experience. I was rushed to emergency & of course, after several hrs. was finally diagnosed, that my potassium level was through the roof. I was admitted & had to go on a potassium-free diet. I was shocked to hear this as I had never heard about potassium putting individuals at risk. If medical help is not sought , you are at extremely high risk of having a heart attack. Hope this is of some help.--- On Mon, 11/9/09, Gracie Becker <grabec wrote: Gracie Becker <grabec older man keeps falling, blackouts? Guest guest
My grandmother had been doing that for a couple of years with no other symptoms. Eventually, she ended up having a mild stroke, I believe, and had to be put into a rehab center. After the stroke, and with different doctors, they determined the cause of vertigo and falls was due to early stage Alzheimer's. Apparently, this is a commonly overlooked symptom. Guest guest
It can also be due to congestive heart failure. He needs to be checked thoroughly. Guest guest
I cured mine with an energy healing technique! I was starting to get that tottering, unstable, out of balance, thing that older folks get. I didn’t want that, so I used the energy healing technique that I teach and it took care of it. I no longer feel off balance or totter! I would be happy to teach him, if he wants me to. www.vibrantenergy.webs.com Love and blessings, Jan
