Guest guest
Unfortunately, however, it won't be possible to look at everything. According to the timesonline, and reported elsewhere: “Scientists at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. “ The article continues, “The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.” So much for getting to the truth of the matter. The CRU says, “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenised) data.” So basically, what they are releasing is the manipulated numbers, not the actual measurements themselves. So much for being able to rely on the data.http://www.examiner.com/x-12465-Washington-County-Independent-Examiner~y2009m11d29-Climategate-emails-result-in-partial-release-of-records
