Guest guest
I am personally suspicious of some of these Facebook apps ... especially when they ask for all my information and my friends. I went there wondering what type of "help" was being asked for autism which everyone is for. NOW I am going to Snopes.Com to check it out further as I cannot see why ANY fund-raising campaign has to have access to any of my personal info and that of my friends. When I give that kind of access permission, I am betraying friends IF this turns out to be a scammer. Joyce Simmerman There is ALWAYS a "BETTER WAY"! WE can find & make ITa "Cradle for Humanity"! Guest guest
Joyce, NAA is not a scam nor a front. They are not asking for your information. Facebook is asking you to create an account so you may vote. If you don't wish to provide the information to create an account you would simply not vote. As a mother of an affected child I would ask any and all people who have a Facebook account to please Vote for NAA so that they can fund the Helping Hands program. For those outside of our community, Helping Hands is one of the only grants available to families of children who can't afford biomedical treatment for their children. In some instances the children who receive proper biomedical treatment recover their lost skills and go on to lead productive, independent lives. It is vitally important that NAA place in the top 5 in this contest being conducted by Chase Bank so that they can literally help thousands of families get help that they would otherwise be unable to have access to. Thanks to anyone who can vote and will share this with their friends. Amy Blake's Mom , " Joyce Simmerman, J.D. Guest guest
GOOD! That's why I avoid Facebook. It collects lots of data on all its users. I have to ask myself why.Betsy--- On Thu, 1/21/10, Joyce Simmerman, J.D. <nativelegal wrote:Joyce Simmerman, J.D. <nativelegal Re:PLEASE HELP THE NATIONAL AUTISM ASSOCIATION ON FACEBOOK!
