Guest guest
If you have been getting this spam from , there are many members that are receiving this spam message from many of the other , it happens every time you send an email to the groups. This is NOT a virus, it is s marketing program, it could be construed as a way to get rid of groups they do not like, I do not know. We have asked to please eliminate this practice to no avail, after all it is their groups and they can market anyway they chose. All we have been able to do is to create a filter that puts these annoying emails into your trash bin automatically. If you have a Gmail account go to "create a filter" that is on the top part of your gmail account page next to search the web, click on "create a filter" a new window opens up, were you see the word "from" put mailserver click on next and click on the word "delete it" make sure you save it. That is it, you will never have another pesky email from that marketing department. I am sure the other email accounts are just as easy to create a filter, or just hit the spam button when you get their emails and that does the same thing. I am truly sorry, for the inconvenience, If anyone knows what else we can do, please let us know. Elaine \ Moderator ------- Re: [any ] " Search Marketing" <mailserver Thank you for contacting us. Guest guest
Hehehe I hit reply and send the "crappy" mail right back to them, with a comment telling them why they are receiving the message. So far they haven't stopped sending me the SPAM (and yes, last I knew that was illegal), but it does make me feel better.
