Dear Dr. Coldwell,

 

You know they have been doing this as long as I

can remember, adding and hiding things that have

absolutely no relevance in bills.

 

As an example, Dr. Woodrow Monte tried to get a

hearing on aspartame in Arizona. On Feb 17, l984,

the FDA denied Dr. Woodrow Monte and James Turner

the opportunity to hold a safety hearing on

questions raised in their petition (Federal

Register l984). G. D. Searle sent a number of

lobbyists to the State of Arizona including

Andrew Herwitz, Arizona Governor Babbitt's former

Chief of Staff, Charles Pine, a

prominent Arizona lobbyist Roger Thies, a G.D.

Searle lawyer and David West, a G.D. Searle

official. (Gordon l987, page 507 of US Senate l987).

 

Dr. Woodrow Monte filed for reconsideration of

his petition for a hearing in Arizona to have

aspartame banned. He was granted a hearing

scheduled for April l985. (Gordon l987, page 507

of US Senate l987). In April l985, in an unusual

and secret maneuver, the Arizona legislature

removed the text in a Toxic Waste Bill and used

it to pass a bill which banned the regulation of

FDA approved food additives (Gordon l987,

page 508 of US Senate l987). This bill scuttled the

hearing that Dr. Monte had been promised.

 

Aspartame breaks down at 86 degrees to poisons.

In Arizona heat which sometimes can go

up to 117 degrees products like diet Coke

and diet Pepsi in front of convenience stores are

formaldehyde cocktails. For years I've taken the

histories of those who perished in Arizona from aspartame.

 

 

Look at ObamaCare which is suppose to be for

healthcare. Why should there be in this bill

the right to set up a youth army to contain

the public like Hitler had? Or death panels who

meet with patients every five years to explain how to end your life?

 

As you know I'm religious and my husband is a

minister, and I believe the only just government

is the Kingdom of God who cares about human life

and not death to the public. However, I'm

surprised hiding irreverent material from the

people in bills for other things is not against

the law. Those doing it should be impeached.

 

I remember Waxman and his antics during the

Dietary Supplement Bill in the early 1990's and

still have the file. I'll let others

know. Here's some interesting trivia. It was

Senator Orrin Hatch who sponsored the Dietary

Supplement Bill back then. But I'll always

believe it was not to save our vitamins, but to

protect his interests and because he defends

Monsanto and aspartame. One Senator couldn't

even get aspartame hearings in Congress until

1985 because of Hatch and he was given money by

Monsanto. One of the things the FDA wanted to do

was also remove phenylalanine from the market and

have it declared a drug. In that case it would

have been fine since phenylalanine in aspartame

lowers the seizure threshold, depletes serotonin,

triggers psychiatric and behavioral problems, and

interacts with all

antidepressants. Phenylalanine isolated is a

neurotoxin and floods the brain. Hatch had to

stop that because if the FDA had made it a drug

you would have had to have a prescription for a

Diet Coke! Monsanto could not allow that to

happen. I understand Hatch was a hapocrit in

Congress when safety hearings were finally

allowed to begin, and the bill to put a

moratorium on this poison and have NIH do

independent studies never got out of

committee. Both FDA toxicologists testified on

the dangers of aspartame, that it was never

proven safe and that it violated the Delaney

amendment because it causes cancer.
