Shang Han Lun Formula Families & Clinical Modification Seminar

January 17 & 18

Easy to understand…greater clarity…better results!!!

The herbal formulas recorded in the Shang Han Za Bing Lun form the

basis for the practice of Chinese herbal medicine. In-depth

understanding of the architecture of these formulas is the best way to

ensure their effective and safe use in clinic.

In this course, Arnaud will cross-reference the Shang Han Lun and the

Jin Gui Yao Lue to reveal the big picture and the full application

context of the prescriptions. The course will demonstrate how they

relate to each other and open up the full breadth of their clinical

indications.

The Shanghan Lun and Jingui Yaolue formulas are related like family

members and their architectural characteristics will be taught in a

modular fashion. The formulas will be presented as formula families to

clearly show their mutual relationships.

A watertight modification system forms the basis of classical herbal

practice. and the elimination of random clinical variables which are

the greatest cause for failure in clinic. All clinical modifications

will be based on the classical writings of Zhang Zhongjing.

The course provides an in-depth discussion on a core selection of

formulas, including formulas for both external invasion as well as

internal damage. The presentation will use clinical cases to

illustrate the system of clinical formula modification that will

improve effectiveness and broaden the field of action of the formulas.

Don't miss this opportunity! The new, larger venue allows for a few

more practitioners to learn this simple and clear system of formula

families. 16 CEUs approved by Cal. Acupuncture Board...16 PDAs for

NCCAOM certification approved
