Guest guest
Interesting. I was just researching this very thing as I have a new patient scheduled to come in two weeks who has this as one of her cc (at age 84). So far, results of medical research on PubMed using acupuncture to treat this is yielding fairly dismal abstracts...not a good sign. Very curious if anyone has some actual clinical experience in treating sensorineural hearing loss (as always, diff pattern dx applies) but aside from that, is this something that other practitioners have actually seen improve (as shown by follow-up hearing tests) which would help give insight into possible prognosis or applicability of acupuncture to treat this condition.
