For a patient who has sucessfully given up marijuana use (had used consistently

for 20+ years) and overcome bouts of extreme constipation(she'd go days without

eliminating; would spend a whole morning 'trying " ..).now, a question about skin

symptoms.

Her forefinger and thumb are very itchy , sometimes shiny, sometimes cut open

and peeling.Finger becomes stiff She works in a restaurant handling money and

(probably sprayed) flowers, has begun wearing gloves. Says it helps but only a

little. She's greatly improved her diet, is going to drop orange juice and

peanuts. She's tried various topicals, including those made with vitamin e oil,

calendula, plantain, st johns wort oil. With the digits involved being along

pathways of LI/LU, could this be a way of letting off toxic heat accumulated

through long constipation, at wei level? (she used to exude heat -this has

evened out) Ive tried LI 11, Li4 in combo with various others , but just one

time- she believed she 'may have had' some relief, but then could not return for

2 weeks; I tried these again, along with the kiiko metal/water treatment on

affected meridians..Im looking for some ideas about how to understand this.

Tongue is very slightly pale purple, very slightly red edges; veins not swollen

beneath, very slightly red tip, very slight quiver. Thank you!

Seems like eczema manifested in the fingers(contact dermatitis). Treat the

internal conditions and the issue should be eliminated.

Since you did not mention the tongue fur, the duration of the skin conditon,

color of urine, pulse condition, cannot recommend any ingredients, sorry.

Moreover, just my opinion, herbal treatment are necessary for skin conditions

and they work very well if pattern identification is correct.
