Lemon juice

My sister called me very upset and I wanted to pass this to the group to see

if maybe what my sister was told is true. Her grandson has recently come to live

with her. The other night he was telling her that his other grandma put lemon

juice in his eyes. Not knowing if he was telling the truth or not she called his

other grandma and asked her. She had indeed put a lemon juice solution in his

eyes and explained that it was mixed with distilled water and is a cure for pink

eye. So my sister has called me and asked if I know anything about this, which I

don't. Does anyone know if lemon and distilled water is used to cure pink eye ?
