Guest guest
Howdy Everyone, My neighbor lady is due to have a baby the 22nd of Oct and she asked me to make up a baby shampoo, baby bath, diaper rash balm, and as many other types of products that i can think of. I surely could use some recipe & formula help in this area. I have looked in the recipe section but there isnt a lot there. Also before our move one of you kind ladies send me a laundry soap recipe that isnt like the one in the files section. This one makes a 5 gallon bucket of it. Would you mind resending it to me off list some how in our move it got deleted and i reallly need to make some now as i will have to buy store bought if i cant find it. Thank You In Advance Vicki Peters
Guest guest
Hi Vicki, The best wash and shampoo for a NEW newborn is just water, but after a few weeks of age a nice 100% olive castile soap is wonderful (I can dig out my single bar recipe for ya - as bar soap tends to be more mild than liquid soap due to the superfatting). I am going to make an effort to dig out my baby recipes for ya and give you at least one recipe for bottom balm and one for talc free baby powder Just give me a bit .. its just about time for me to start supper here, so I might not be able to post for several hours! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Many Wonderful New & Sale Items Including Muscovado Sugar http://www.alittleolfactory.com <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/> Sunmoon [sun613moon] Howdy Everyone, My neighbor lady is due to have a baby the 22nd of Oct and she asked me to make up a baby shampoo, baby bath, diaper rash balm, and as many other types of products that i can think of. Guest guest
Here is a recipe for baby wipes. I have used it and it works great. You have to make sure you get a good quality paper towel or it is murder getting it out of the container. And for the container I had a Tupperware-type container that was the perfect size so you don’t have to buy some wipes to get a container. HTH Karen J Baby Wipes 1 roll paper towels 2 ¼ C. water 2 T. baby shampoo or baby bath 1 T. baby oil Cut the roll of paper towels in half and remove the cardboard center. Mix water, shampoo, and oil in a plastic container (an old baby wipe container, for example). Place half- roll in the container, close lid and turn upside-down to let the paper towels soak thoroughly. Pull towels from the center of the roll.
