Guest guest
Hi Serra, Thanks for posting this note. I have been eyeballing my monoi for this same purpose, but have heard mixed outcomes with getting this fragrance to stick in soap. It seemed the concensus was that it would not stick. I wonder why you had better luck? Is there anyone else who can report on their experiences. I don't mind using it IF it will stick, but I don't want to waste it if it won't. Thanks, Eva , Serra <serraangel@c...> wrote: > Hi all, > I finally got to play a bit--I need soap for the upcoming holiday shows > so I made some up with Chris' Monoi. > Beautiful stuff!! Guest guest
I got it to stick using just 25% I also used some Lemon EO in the recipe Here is my recipe. The scent is coming through beautifully, very strong, (to me) stronger than most of my other soaps as a matter of fact. Palm 34 oz Monoi de Tahiti 27.7 oz Olive 30 oz Castor 6 oz 6 oz Virgin Coconut Oil 2 oz Lemon Peggy Lowell McNaughton Soap www.splendidsoap.com - Eva Hi Serra, Thanks for posting this note. Guest guest
Eva, I used it at 50% of my recipe as well, and it sticks so well that I bet you could get away with using less. It is a very heavily scented soap at that percentage. I was surprised at how well it came through. Hope I have inspired you! :-) Debbie deb Soap sale, new products and more http://www.debrasrhapsody.com/rhapsody/specials.php - " Eva " <evaedwards Thursday, October 28, 2004 2:56 PM Re: Chris' Monoi - *in soap* > > > Hi Serra, > Thanks for posting this note.
