Guest guest
Hi Listmates, A couple months ago I was trying to learn about the name of this plant from India a physician friend was telling me about and it was Sandi who put me on the path of the right spelling. And Rhavada who said to be sure to share what I learn. I am done being busy for the time being at least and will sit at the computer and share this weekend. Just want you to know I haven't forgotten. :)Paula

Pandanus odoratissimus flower. Great smelling stuff, very expensive. Highly prized in Indian perfumery, often as an attar. I believe your friend originally referred to its medicinal properties, of which I have no knowledge. I have seen it misspelled keweda on several websites, but kewda is the accepted spelling. http://anyamccoy.com
Guest guest
Thanks Anya for the tweak. When I see him again at work I will ask about the medicinal properties...thinking it was for headaches. Okay will find out... :)Paula
