And about your previous post regarding Hungarian food: I don't know what kind of condition the cookies would reach you in... may be an experience that would turn you off to them! Yes, there is some good eatin' there in the Buda and the Pest. Didn't you find any of those little cookies there? I knew you would encounter some Guylash and sausage (Hurka? which is blood sausage, *NOT* one of my favorite things in this world -blech!) Aah, I haven't traveled to Hungary though. Maybe some day soon... Have a good one! Andrea

Andrea! I LOVE Blood pudding!! It is one of the most memorable comfort foods from my childhood. We are Slovenia. Think Slovenian Blood Pudding is a bit different! Dont ever let the name keep you from trying something new!!!! Hugs Neysa
Guest guest
Hey Andrea, >>Hi Sherry, >> >>Part of the below post is sort of harsh .. at least that's how it >>comes cross to me. I wasn't coming after Sherry either .. but I have observed group dynamics for a lot of years in various roles .. and particular since I began monitoring Newsgroups like Oils & Herbs .. since 1995. And I have seen some of them go to Hell in a Hand Basket when folks began fighting in a manner they wouldn't fight if we were sitting around a table and discussing a subject. Easy it is to get carried away when we don't have to see the face of the person we're communicating with. I know that cause I've done it myself a couple of times .. back when I was a lot younger and a lot dumber. ;-) > No disrespect to Martin --please know that! I was debating whether to > put an " LOL " after my first statement. Looks like I should have after > all. Don't hurt much to put one in there now and then. ;-) > Andrea (who doesn't really have any other list other than a " TO DO " > and an Oils & Herbs) Lucky you are. There are some out there that I won't make a post to anymore .. they are lost causes. The worst of the lot is the Idma List. Lucky you are to never have joined that one. I've butted heads with lotsa folks on this list .. folks I don't dislike at all .. folks I would love to have a beer with and if a few cases I have had beers with them. All in all we need to try to play as nice as we can and not say things that we might find difficult to take back later. Obviously, we can't run in a line like ducks and this is not a Sunday School Class .. but when I wanna criticize someone its better for me and them if I can avoid the impression of making it personal .. and that's not always easy to do cause some folks I have known can sometimes interpret disagreement with their ideas as being a personal slam. Depends on what kind of day they are having. A good policy when we feel a little bit upset is to make a post .. stick it in our Drafts File, or whatever, and look at it again in an hour or so .. we might see something there we wanna change. ;-) If I wanna disagree with Martin I just say something like .. Martin, you are my buddy .. I like you and respect you .. but you are acting like a Goat Headed Troll right now .. so how about please trying to convince me without acting like one'a them critters. ;-) Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch
