Afternoon Kathleen,

I'm a simple and lazy soul so I look for the simple and lazy solution!

Anything with any infection of amy sort is hit with green clay. I either use it

dry if I need a fast drying solution (so to speak) or I make it up with pure

water, and any healing oils that I can think of at any given time. The clay

will pull out any infection and if you have the time an opportunity to repeat

and replace every couple of hour will go away faster.

for absolutely ages I had a 'sweat' sore in my decollatage (isn't that a lovely

word?) which developed from a flea bite and with the itch and sweat of summer

developed. I tried every oil to stop the itch, pain and irritation. I had some

clay that I had made up for something else and kept slapping that on and the

thing disappeared.

I must admit I use clay on all sorts of things: my liver playing up - a

teaspoon of clay every morning until the upper backache disappears, as well as

the gastric reflux; scratches, cuts, bites and ticks - clay poultice; cat

looking second hand - some clay in her drinking water; injured animals in care -

roll their food in some clay and separatedly some apple cider vinegar in their

water. I have a crested pigeon in care at the moment and as it is extremely

thin and will probably die as it was brought in by someone's cat, it is now fed

with a pipette containing and insect-type of food mix, a high protein baby food

and some green clay.

It is being used for injuries to flying foxes (usually their wings have

problems) along with cold-pressed macadamia oil. Results? Brilliant!!

Firm believer in the KISS principle.

Regards

Merinda

If all else fails, cry!
