Guest guest
This is a project idea at Michael's Craft Store ... I used to teach M & P soap making at my local Michael's Craft Store when I lived in CO ... *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bath Salt Soap This recipe is made using M & P Soap Base: Cut soap into smaller pieces and place in microwave-safe measuring cup or container. Heat in microwave for 40 seconds, then in 10 second intervals until soap is completely melted, stirring in between intervals. Add fragrance and a soap colorant in very small amounts until desired color and scent is achieved. Pour small amount of melted soap into mold until bottom surface is thinly covered. Let this layer harden, then spray lightly with alcohol. Sprinkle layer with a thin layer of bath salts. Immediately pour a small amount of melted soap to cover bath salts. Let layer harden for a few minutes and repeat process until mold is full. Note: If soap in measuring cup hardens, reheat in microwave for a few seconds. Let soap harden completely before un-molding. Wrap soap immediately in plastic wrap to preserve freshness until ready to use.
