Guest guest
Hi everyone! In case you haven't heard it all over the news yet, our Huygens Probe landing was successful! We had a soft, non-drowning landing in a spot that actually enabled the probe's batteries to stay alive for much longer than the Cassini Orbiter was able to pick up signals (signals were picked up by radio telescopes located around the Earth, that's how we know). Our scientists have been busybusybusy working, and we have not only pictures, but sound files as well! If you go to the ESA or JPL web pages for Cassini-Huygens you can see and hear what we have so far (http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Cassini-Huygens/index.html or http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/home/index.cfm) Cool stuff!!!
