Guest guest
There is a new fad in our society, pertaining to personal views and opinions. Being predjudiced in any way has not been popular for a long time. Nowadays, to be a bigot is something to be ashamed of and to even try to hide. Because it is so disdainful, people are trying harder than ever to hide it, or disguise it. But a new trend has made life easier for bigots and harder for those of us who have had enough of oppression. This trend that I refer to has no name, that I know of, so we will call it " the dance of the Hypocrites " . The basic concept of this trend is for the hypocrite to use polite terms and to stay within the politically correct guidelines so that they can claim to be simply pursuing a civil engagement, or attempting to grow. The latter is almost laughable because they are not at all interested in changing their opinions, in fact they are more interested in getting you to change yours. Along with their veiled attempt to spread hatred under the guise of intellectual conversation, they also seize the opportunity to claim that any hostility involved in their hate speech must be coming from anyone who disagrees with them since they of course " meant no harm. " The worst part about all of this is that this has become so common that to even point out their hypocrisy or to express any anger towards this type of action labels you as the bad guy. Gods, I miss the days when the bigots would at least admit that they were bigots. This song and dance that they use issues out a double punishment. You are punished by their hateful words, and then further punished if you point out how hateful their words are. Unfortunately the only way that our society can remain civil is if we remain in this PC world. Common sense must be a dead language. I tell you, if this is evolution, than I would like to crawl back into the ocean. But hey, this is just my opinion, and I happen to be hate speech impaired.
