Guest guest
Dear Chris, Did anyone ever post the information on Fibromyalgia? If so, then I missed it. I am preparing a short lecture and special class on Fibro and aromatherapy so if anyone has any information or good links I would appreciate it if you would post them. Thank you in advance for any help. Guest guest
Hi Rhavda, Here's a little info for you. Hope it's not too late. Also, in my research for Osteo, I found that Ginger is good for sore and achy joints. In Fibro as I'm sure you know, you have that " achy all over " feeling. Ginger EO is good, or actually slicing fresh ginger and adding it to the bath. Drinking a cup of tea with fresh ginger slices is said to be helpful too as are anti-inflamatory herbs. Hope this helps, Michelle http://www.holisticmenopause.com Essential Oils for Fibromyalgia Soothing aromatherapy baths and massages can help to ease muscle and joint pain. Choose one or more of the following essential oils to add to bath water or massage oil: basil, black pepper, elemi, eucalyptus, myrrh, peppermint, and pine. Add juniper oil or rosemary oil to bath water. Take a half-hour bath, then rest in bed for an hour to ease pain and calm the system. Rub tea tree oil everywhere it hurts at least once daily; muscle pain takes about six weeks to disappear. Massage painful areas with juniper oil. Many essential oils help to reduce stress, a major contributor of fibromyalgia. Useful oils are: elemi, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lavender, myrrh, and neroli.
