<Young claims that he subsequently operated a clinic in Mexico that treated

cancer patients with laetrile. Laetrile is a useless and dangerous drug that can

harm or kill people because it forms cyanide in the body. It is illegal, and it

is something of which Young should be ashamed, rather than proud.>

Woobey,

I love your aromaticsage site! Since I know quite a few people who worship the

ground that Gary Young walks on I am reading the articles on YLEO with great

interest.

The oils can't be all bad. This one girl I I know used to be a nervous wreck,

with bad gut problems. These days she is looking and feeling much better and she

credits YLEO.

I also noted that the anti-Young MD cites the notorious Quack Watch site and

blindly repeats the AMA party line that leatrile is deadly. There is much

evidence to the contrary.

So who do I believe?

Hey Ien

While the YL oils are not the best oils one can buy (despite their claims),

my and many other folks arguements against the company is NOT the oils,

it's the SOB who owns it and the dangerous crap (so called information)

they spout. If your friend is feeling better because of using YL oils, more

power to her and I'm happy for her.

As for Doctors article. She published it at Quackwatch because she knew of

no other place that would reach as wide an audience. However that doesn't

take away from the content of what she had to say. Especially as she has

the documentation to back it up.

In regards to her stance on Laetril, I can neither defend nor condem her on

that. I don't know enough to comment on it. I know a lot of folk on both

sides of the fence. However she stands on that subject, I think she was

more horrified and outraged by the fact that Young was posing as a Doctor

and prescribing it.

And I'm glad you like Aromatic Sage, There is some great stuff there. ;-)

Cheers!

I've never felt the oils where as much to blame as YL 's sales techniques..

They ARE dangerous.

Essential oils in the wrong hands can be lethal.

If you like to pay for over priced and over hyped oils. go YL...no one

is stopping you, but you should read the file we have on GY.

Laetrile is another thing many people have been ripped off with and it

has nothing to do with leatrile, but so many unscrupulous people who

raised false hopes , gave bogus prescriptions and insufficient

medications...
