Guest guest
Maybe Chris can chime in on this one. I am looking to venture further in the herbal calling. Can anyone recommend a home study course? I have three children, and being away is just not feasible right at this time. Not only that but we have two other business's that we have to run everyday. I know Clayton College has one, Rosemary Gladstar has a course, any others? And I am not sure if those courses certify you. These days, people want to know that you can walk the walk so to speak. Thanks, Renee

Can anyone recommend a home study course? As you know, there are quite a few herbal home study courses out there. There are the two that you you mentioned below ... then there also are: Australasian College of Health Sciences http://www.achs.edu/ Susun Weed - http://www.susunweed.com Here is a list of programs from the American Botanical Council http://www.herbalgram.org/default.asp?c=schools > I have three children, and being away is just not feasible right at this time. > Not only that but we have two other business's that we have to run everyday. There are several " brick and mortar " colleges around the globe that do have true recognized, accredited by all the important accrediting organizations, degree programs, but you have to attend on campus, so that area of discussion is moot in your current situation ... > I know Clayton College has one, Rosemary Gladstar has a course, any others? > And I am not sure if those courses certify you. Guest guest
Hey Renee, There are two courses I would feel comfortable suggesting. I'm sure others on the list also have some suggestions too. Here are my suggestions: http://www.foundationsofherbalism.com/ by Christopher Hobbs http://www.planetherbs.com/courses/ by Michael Tierra Hope this helps!
