Guest guest
Hi all.. got some bad news tonight. My mom, who lives right near me, had some bleeding from her rectum yesterday. She say the doctor today and he scheduled her to see surgeon this evening. When the surgeon was looking for the source of the bleeding (thinking it was polyps or colitis), he found something else. He found a pretty severe aneurysm and it looks like it is on the aorta. She is now in cardiac care, hooked up to all the mandatory wires and tubes, and is scheduled or cat scans and ultra sound. They are looking to transfer her to a bigger hospital in St Joe and the surgery will be major surgery and the risk is high. She is a heart patient, having had two open heart surgeries done some years ago, and this would never been found except for the rectal bleeding, which turns out is not related to the aneurysm. She is a tough little lady, but I would appreciate any prayers any of you might send. Especially pray for my daughter Ashlee...she is in the military and I had to let her know what was going on and she is so upset because she is so far away and can't do anything. She is alone there, no family I mean, and she was just transferred to another flight so she doesn't have any of her friends near. I have family here to be with me and my mom, but my poor daughter is toughing this out by herself. Keep her in your prayers, too and send her the strength she needs. Thanks, guys, this caught us off guard and I am still letting it all sink in. You are the best and love to all of you... Guest guest
Cherry, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother, she will be in my prayers; thank goodness they found this. I'll also keep your daughter, Ashlee, in my prayers, it's too bad she got transferred from the ones she knows & is close with.
