Guest guest
I am behind on digests, but thought I would mention this little tidbit. I vended at a Medieval Fair this last weekend. While videotaping the belly dancers, my shoulders got sunburned very quickly In my hurry and hustle & bustle to get ready for the show, I forgot my normal *travel first aid* bag. One of my drummer friends is also a massage therapist, Reiki (not sure what level), into reflexology etc. She promised me she would bring me some Lavender the next day. I was overjoyed! As she was applying this to my shoulders, she started telling me of something that Mr. Young did that truly freaked her out. Seems during some sort of gathering of MD's, he brought out a soldering iron and proceeded to place the hot thing on his forearm! It produced a very nice burn (duh!) and he treated it with *his* burn formulation.....which I am sure is mostly lavender. Of course, the results were dramatic. I decided that it wasn't worth my effort to educate her....as she IS what I would consider a very educated woman! Has anyone else heard of this particular story circulating?
