Guest guest
oh NO! I'd go nuts if my dog ate my tomatoes. Algie doesn't seem to have any strange tastes, neither does Biggles (the cat) although (and this is MAJOR) he has learned how to communicate with " Himself " well enough to bully him into feeding him some cream. Cowboy of course is too little to have strange desires for anything. I did have a rabbit that would kill for chocolate. It's not good for Bunnies but she still managed to con a little bit out of me from time to time. Cheers! Guest guest
Our cats will only eat dog food. You've heard of Pavlov and his dogs ? I have his cat ! All you have to is shake the container of kitty treats, and one of our cats will start drooling as soon as he hears it !! I think the cats think they are dogs - they growl more than the dogs ever have !! One will even heel like a dog and walk with you when told to heel. Paula .......... in Michigan oh NO! Guest guest
Hi Paula, Its very dangerous to feed cats dogfood. Their nutritional needs are very different. A varied diet would be better, and if the cats object, the usual training method is to put the food down for 10mins, and then take it up again, offer it 4 hours later - they will eventtally eat. Guest guest
They are inside and outside cats. There is no way I can control what they eat outside. They will take the food away from our dogs and the neighbor's dogs. been doing since they were babies and are now almost 9 years old. Guest guest
Snickers, our feline matriarch, is the chicken connoisseur of the family. We don't know how but she can be asleep in the other end of the house and when I take chicken out of the freezer and she will be sitting there before I can get the freezer closed. It's like she has sonar and moves at the speed of light.
