Guest guest
Morning-- My oldest cat, Zolley--(12) has never done really well on cat food--there's only 2 brands I can feed him that he doesn't constantly erp back up---it's the dye's in the food. Being broke a time or 2 when he was really young and we discovered his problem, I had no choice but to feed him dog food. He keeps that down better than anything else. He's a HUGE cat (about 20 pounds). In his younger days, he was also a potato chip freak--I always put them on top of the fridge until they were opened--and I kept finding them slit open--then I watched him do it--would take just 1 claw and slit the bag right down the middle! His main passion now is ice cream. He will sit at my feet, begrudging my every bite, until all that's left is what's melted as I ate. I also had a cat years ago (Callihan) who could open ANY door known to mankind if it had the cat food behind it! When he thought the food dish had gotten too low, he'd go open the door--just enough so I'd notice: his version of a 'cat's 'ah-hem??...he was a kick in the pants. If I ran out of food, he'd want out, and would come back with a field mouse for each of the cats in the house. He would also hug you whenever you came home--just a cool dude. He was also a big one--very long, and about 20 pounds, as well. My youngest cat is Jet--who is the first cat I've ever seen with AMBER--not yellow or gold--amber, eyes! He's jet black, with silver tiger stripes. He was a big hit at the vet's last month when he 'visited' to be neutered. goody
