Guest guest
Peggy, I'd like to try the sea salt soak for my hand eczema. Did you use a particular type or brand and how much did you use and was it in hot or cold water? I'd love to get rid of this mess - I've had it for years and it's a pain. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Mary I just got a box of seasalt at the coop (Lifestream brand). It was a dollar and fifteen cents. It is not completely gone but the itching and redness is greatly diminished. From what I found out on another list, it is important to get essential fatty acids too. I have not started on that yet but have been eating fish. The water should be about two degrees above body temp. Probably does not have to be exact....that way the minerals will go into your skin rather than the salt pulling stuff out like it would if the water was very hot. If you had dead sea salts I think that would be even better. It is the minerals that your skin needs. I used quite a bit. I dumped like two tablespoons into a cereal sized bowl of water and put my hand in for about 10-15 minutes. Do it once a day. I'm not an expert though....just telling what I did. I hope it helps you.
