CPOD and aromatherapy

Hi,

I just got a question during my summer workshop here, regarding a severe

case of

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, not smoking related (hereditary).

I have of course some ideas of the use of some essential oils, but would

love to have some

other viewpoints and most important of all, experiences, aromatherapy

related or not,

Hi Michel:

Only because this is 'personal,' am I responding.. I have the beginning of PD

... due to .. of course smoking (yes, I have stopped smoking now) ... and

honestly, I do admit .. feel better, no more coughing, etc.

All this to stay .. I do have problems with 'shortness of breath' especially

in this hot humid weather .. or walking to far. They insist that I use the

'drug companies' inhales.. which are steroids and I refuse to use.

Do not know if you know Jeffrey Yuen, he has attended many of Kurt's

conferences and has been a customer of mine for many years now. He has the

uncanny

knack of calling me when I am under the weather.. And he did call me this past

winter after a bout in the hospital with the PD .. and bronchial pneumonia.

All this to say, he told me to use Eucalyptus polybractea and Pine Needles..

I made myself a blend and have been using it ever since. It has truly helped

me breathe easier.

I would be interested as well to hear others' experience and what they have

found successful.
