Guest guest
I have uploaded some photos into the photo section of the group under Natural Solution's. the pics are of my mom's heel. About 2 years ago she started getting these little red dots appearing under her skin on her heel. The doctor's are stumped and it is very sensitive to most things. What happens is these little white pus type dots appear under the skin on her heel, then they turn red and then the skin above the dot dries up and peels off. The dots never surface, they are underneath the skin. This happens over a period of 3-4 days. The only thing that seems to help is keeping it really dry. Water, moisturizers, oils all make it worse. Moisturizers soften it but make the dots get worse. Tea tree oil aggravates it. The only thing I can think of is an alcohol based spray with some essential oils. The doctors did a skin scraping but nothing came back. I said she needs to test the white stuff inside the dots not just a skin scraping. Anyone have any idea what this is. Thanks for any and all help, I appreciate it. Guest guest
Did your doctor test her for pustular psoriasis? Sounds like it if the bumps contain pus. It doesn't look like the silvery, scaly psoriasis that is normally seen. This kind only appears on the hands and feet (usually the palms and soles, I think!) and is a lot like you describe. You can google it and probably find pictures for it to see if it looks what you are describing. If it's clear fluid, then it sounds like whitlow and that's caused by a viral infection. I hope you, your Mom, and the doctors can find some answers soon. > [Original Message] > Nature's Natural Solution's <talismanacres > > 7/25/2005 8:55:43 PM > Need some help please read. > > I have uploaded some photos into the photo section of the group under Natural Solution's. the pics are of my mom's heel.
